Nick Jeans has 22 years’ experience of teaching in Adult and Further Education. He was an e-learning mentor at Sheffield College, then seconded to visit other colleges to advise on Technology-Enhanced Learning. He has spent 14 years developing and delivering CPD for teachers in Staff Development workshops, City Learning Centres, staff training centres and schools. He managed a Content Development team for the South Yorkshire E-Learning Programme, 2005-2008, and is a member of JISC's Learning and Student Experience Experts Group. Recent work has included a JISC Skills sector digital student project, working with students and staff in Further Education, Work-based learning (including apprenticeships) and Offender Learning. He is now working with the Education and Training Foundation to help colleges make best use of its Essential Digital Skills training modules.
