EDS: Being responsible online
This module looks at the knowledge and skills you need in order to teach Being responsible online. The first chapter deals with behaviour that is socially inappropriate and how to protect yourself from it. The second chapter focuses on behaviours that are illegal and how to stay within the law.
To develop your understanding, skills and confidence to teach competencies in Being responsible online from the Being safe and responsible online skills area of the National Standards for Essential Digital Skills.
At the end of the module you will be able to:
- Explain the key knowledge components required to teach Being responsible online
- Apply the technical skills identified in the module
- Facilitate effective learning of this area of the standards at the relevant level (Entry or Level 1)
