some answers are ambiguous and open for interpretation
very helpful reminder
bad user interface, makes accessing the information very frustrating, the design is overly child likem the information doesn't seem appropriate
Really good practice
Good
struggled to uploading a video to edit but figured it out in the end. all good practice
lovely
Some questions are so subjective. Why would you shorten a video clip? To make it more meaningful to the viewer? To match an added soundtrack? AAAAAAAARGGGGHHHH! Please restart the Quiz !
I found this section really helpful. Im familiar with using photoshop to edit pictures, but the step by step tasks have enabled me to get to grips with video editing. Something that I have been wanting to do for some time.
Good
Highlighted a lot of things I took for granted using auto modes
Very useful resource!
On the whole I found this unit to be very interesting and useful. Again a lot of the information I already knew, due to having been practicing the skills during my time off. However, I did find that the Quiz at the end was a bit confusing and misleading and actually struggled on it!
Adding sound to video could be better explained.
Nice and easy, this one. I have lots of experience of image and video editing for my own pleasure.
very useful
Some useful information but too much emphasis on knowing the names of operations rather than how to use them; the final quiz is much more a memory test than a reflection of skill.
Factual errors: the answer that cropping may change the aspect ratio is marked wrong, when in fact cropping very often changes the aspect ratio. Highlighting the central part of an image (marked correct) may sometimes be an intention but often an off-centre detail is picked out by cropping.
This module was very informative
Informative
The video is good but the person talks too fast
a good module
A useful module, good links!
The quiz proved difficult even after reading the information.
Steven Spielberg has nothing to worry about me!
Some really poor questions. The answers may have been discussed in your material but the optional answers are not self evident, which they should be if this is assessing knowledge of how to work with digital media. Eg. Which of the following can often be achieved by reducing the length of captured video footage? Your answer was about improving the story telling of the video. That answer only makes sense if context is given to the video editing.
Another is Which of the following benefits can cropping a picture achieve? Pick two options. There was a third option that was also valid.
I have a lot to learn before I could teach this at level 1! I haven't edited video on anything but a pc before
Useful
Some useful tips to produce videos.
some things i didnt know here. i prefer the female voice over, much less monatone
Video editing was new to me so I found this interesting.
lots of good ideas to practise
Plenty of good, straightforward advice. This will make me practise using more techniques and use different formats.
Very informative
On smaller screens some of the interactive content is not fully visible without making the whole screen smaller, which makes the writing smaller to read. Can the bar across the top be lifted to give more working space? Content is good.
It is useful to know about functions of image editing when using images to teach.
