Note taking using digital tools

Digital note-taking tools exist to cover all of the situations when what you need is a platform for informal rough working: planning, preparing and structuring a task; making sketches and diagrams.

They are the digital equivalents of the back of an envelope or a blank sheet of paper, but they won't get lost and you can access them from different devices and shape into more formal or permanent forms to suit your needs.

This module will help you incorporate a range of digital tools for note-taking into your teaching practice.

Adopting digital tools for note-taking

After completing this module you will be able to:

- make informed choices between alternative digital note-taking tools for teaching and learning
- adopt appropriate digital note-taking approaches into your teaching practice

Big emphasise on Microsoft OneNote! For quick and easy note keeping I like using Google Keep. With Google Keep I can make audio notes, add images , and task lists. Syncs to all my devices and calendars. Great note taking tool  Report this review

Good links, tips and general ideas--the concept of mapping notes to specs and schemes of work etc could be very powerful.  Report this review
