Using learner information

This module examines how we currently use the data available to us, how we might find ways to develop it further to improve teaching and learning and what the emerging field of learning analytics might contribute.

This module aims to help you use learner information to improve learner experience and outcomes.

After completing this module, you will be able to:

• explain Learning Analytics and assess what it might contribute to more effective teaching and learning
• examine your current use of data and how you apply it to the improvement of learner outcomes
• lead discussion amongst your colleagues on better analysis and use of data to enhance teaching practice.
