EdTech: Digital well-being for all (Part 1)
When we go online we build up, piece by piece, online identities that can have positive and negative outcomes for our well-being, our sense of self-worth and for our future prospects, all based on how others react and respond to our activity. Each time we contribute to the web, we add to an online identity.
In this this module we will explore awareness of how digital technologies can negatively affect well-being. In Digital well-being for all (Part 2) we will go on to explore strategies for managing reputation. In How to tread a positive digital footprint will look in more detail at digital footprints.

Good reinforcement of key info to pass on to learners
Hits home some key points
The tick-list was revealing in terms of advice I've (not) passed on... but will now!
The module really got me to think about how to explain your digital footprint to learners and how to help them understand the impact of this
great. It really got me thinking about digital presence
An interesting topic. However, I think the answers to the question needs to be revisited. There are two clear answers but the third one that is suggested appears to be written incorrectly? I may have read it wrong myself?
great videos
Interesting
Straightforward and easy to understand
Very quick
The module reinforced a number of key messages to be shared with students.
Interesting and easy and quick to follow. Some good tips
Excellent way to inform how to manage interaction with others on the wen wisely.
Interesting advice and one that I will pass to all my students. I am very pleased that these aspects of our course deliveries are in modules that the students are given lots of opportunities to reflect and build on.
Basic but useful
A very insightful course with useful references as a follow up.
Content is good, but quiz questions focus more on grammar and identifying the understanding of sentence construct than the content. Not disability-friendly.
Good advice. The Orange video is an excellent teaching tool.
good info
Poorly worded quiz!
Wonderful!
Really interesting and thought provoking
This unit was really good at making me think about how my own online presence impacts both others and myself.
This was good to refresh the module
Good basic information to pass onto learners with regards to their digital well being. Secure passwords, don't post negative information or stories online, what you post online may be there permanently, limit time online (use a well being app). Use linkedIn and Twitter positively as an employer my Google your name (positive online identity).
Good ideas and warnings on how to stay safe and protect mental wellbeing
Older learners will always be looking for more information on web safety, following reports in the media and, in some cases, direct involvement in scams etc.
Good
very useful and i will improve my activity in this area.
I found this very useful and will encourage my students to leave a positive digital footprint to help with their well being.
Remember - stay safe on line
Good reminder of how to manage online presence.
Good
Makes you stop and think on just how much information is available to future employers and it is vital that students actually everyone should have an understanding of this.
Really good advice to remind us about how to advise learners.
Very well thought out module
Very useful.
Teaches you how to be careful online
very quick and useful - especially with younger learners - would use the video with employability courses
Really useful review and some new resource ideas to use with learners
Clear,concise - very helpful.
confusing interface
Good session on internet safety and posting information
Basic introduction that covers the essentials that we need to ensure our learners take on board.
A great reminder of how to support learners and ensuring effective personal use of the internet.
Really highlights how online behaviour can be found by anyone which can impact your future prospects
Mostly common knowledge but sometimes we may need reminding.
Some useful basic ideas however get the sense that professional learning is about information transfer rather than collaborative professional learning (empty vessels).
Well delivered module with intro video, example video and checklist.
Really enjoyed this module - video and quiz made it very interactive. Will look for similar you tube videos to share with my learners.
Useful links to explore for web building
Brief, but relevant content.
useful reminders of key points
The video of the woman in a job interview would be an effective resource to show learners an negative example of the impact of their virtual space.

Worthwhile module. Made me think about how I could support my learners with SEN to be safer online.
Essential knowledge in today's world.
Great short resources for awareness of internet.
Simple to use
This is a hugely relevant section of digital practice and one which needs greater promotion.
A good, basic module. the videos gave a better view of how digital behaviour can have lasting effects.
Very basic
Clear introduction
I really like this module, particularly the video of the young person being interviewed; it makes the point very clear.
Useful overview thank you I learnt something new.
Incorrect as does not fully integrate the GDPR
Lots of useful information.
Good insight into how digital wellbeing can affect individuals and what to look out for as well.
Short but impactful resources designed to make you think.
Very insightful, awareness of how social media can be used, warning about what to say on there.

Clear videos are great to exemplify the points.

I'm still confused as i did not think 123456 is an appropriate password to give, too easily guessed.
