I teach Employability skills to a class of 10 learners, I have been working at the college for over a year. I also teach Functional skills in Maths and English and communication skills such as Makaton. My group are working on Level 2 signing.

How will you adapt activities in your teaching context to put into practice learning from the module?

I teach a class of SEN learners and within the class I have a learner with dyslexia, another with a visual impairment, one with global delay, processing issues and delayed speech who wears a hearing aid. I will introduce the magnifier app and auto scroll to empower the class to see the text clearer so it will make reading a lot clearer. The text to speech and speech to text app will greatly... more
