I am working in a College on line with Apprentiship programmes in Art and Design , recent changes to the framework has meant that the focus is changing to Digital standard and so I need to upskill , I have been transferred to teaching TA's by the college , I also work in another College setting doing practical work for pattern making and textiles when things are Normal. How did you use the learning from this module in your teaching context?

Inequitable access can stem from the ability of the student as well as the resources that are available to the students . It can also be how you plan your learning to meet the needs of the learners as they develop over time with you .Differentiated availability helps equitable access. You have to ask, 'how do I teach with what I have got?' What can I do and what cannot I do?'... more

What worked well?

I think this module make me consider what is actually working well, it also maybe made me stop pushing myself to get the 'road map completed and focus a little more on what the view is from this digital journey. The map has so many pathways. The students have responded in different ways, but also I have been lucky that I have had such a range of students in different settings to practice... more

What would you do differently next time?

I think that my feedback to student is probably a bot long. I think the breaking don of units in to shot tasks of 10 minutes bit like in the class room need to be done to increase the pace of work. This early digital phase has meant some long task as breaking it down into smaller chunks is going to take some planning time.
