I teach basic literacy and drama in a community day services setting, working with adults with learning difficulties and disabilities. There are 9 learners in the group, aged between 24 and 70 and I have worked with them for 3 years. How will you adapt activities in your teaching context to put into practice learning from the module?

One of my learners is about to move into supported accommodation after living with his parents all his life. This is clearly a huge step for all involved and there has been many months of preparation. He has Downs Syndrome, has some mobility issues, mild hearing loss and challenges with verbal fluency.
