Give a brief description of your work context and responsibilities, e.g. your teaching background, experience, type of organisation (e.g. FE college, ACL), subject/curriculum you teach/lead, your learners (skills level, any particular inclusion needs, age range of group, size of group)

Running online training courses for adult learners with a wide range of IT skills. The learners are taking part with limited local support. Group size normally 15-20 with age range from 30 - 60+, often in the older end. I'm training them in digital accessibility awareness.

How will you adapt activities in your teaching context to put into practice learning from the module?

My next online training course will be built around an interactive Xerte resource. This will allow users to navigate swiftly to the areas relevant to their personal skill and knowledge level. When joining instructions are sent out before the course commences, they will include guidance on the minimum background knowledge required to participate as well as any browser plugins that will be used... more
