I am a teacher of English GCSE and Functional skills in an inner London FE college. I primarily teach English to Health and social care, Childcare, and hair and beauty students.

How will you adapt activities in your teaching context to put into practice learning from the module?

I will definitely be using immersive readers in my lessons as this will assist a variety of students with SpLDs. Perhaps even more important than this is Microsoft has a great function that transposes everything you say whilst you use PowerPoint. I will be using this soon but it does require the online version of PowerPoint and a microphone. I will have to purchase the microphone/headset myself... more
