I work for major college in the South west supplying education within a prison. I have been busy doing this in multiple subjects, spanning the majority of the available subjects for the past 19 years. Currently i run a Cycle maintenance L2 course that links in with the Council as part of a recyling/carbon foot print reduction program, and have won several awards for this. How did you use the learning from this module in your teaching context?

I am trying to build an interactive information resource to primarily aid those with lower literacy skills. Utilizing a touch sensitive LED interactive board the learners can just touch the area of the bike they are having difficulty with, it expands into a secodary component screen, for more specificity, and then they can zoom into the item they need to look at. What worked well?

The availability of information in both diagramatic/picture form back up with a step by step guide.
Learners ability to investigate independently of everyone..
The "reviewability" of the information by the learners at will.

What would you do differently next time?

Get some modern kit!
