I have taught Music Technology at level 2, 3 and 4, for over 15 years. As technology has evolved I have endeavoured to ensure my practice keeps up to date and provides the appropriate resourcing for the requirements of individuals and groups.

How did you use the learning from this module in your teaching context?

The module has made me reflect on the different resources available within my institution, and how sessions provided in particular spaces can be adapted to ensure their is an equitable environment for all learners. What worked well?

I have broken down resources into groups and ensured that learners are able to have equitable access either at college or elsewhere. Where this is not guaranteed I have adapted assignments to limit requirements to those where access can be made available for all learners.

What would you do differently next time?

Prior to writing assignments, the relevant resourcing should be listed and grouped according to their importance for the completion of work and ensuring their is an equitable access possible for all learners during the duration of the assignment.
