I taught maths for about 30 years in Secondary schools to years 7 - 11, and for the past 8 years I have mostly been delivering GCSE maths (Pearson/Edexcel) to learners aged 16-19 in groups of about 20 in an FE college. This year the teaching and learning has been 100% on line.

How will you adapt activities in your teaching context to put into practice learning from the module?

From Sept 2021 I will ensure that ALL learners allocated to me are made aware of the assistive technologies available to them. This may be even more important should we have to go into lockdown and recommence on-line learning through Teams. For those with stronger learning needs, I will encourage them to access my resources online via mobiles or laptops even if the lesson is being delivered... more
