I have worked in apprenticeships/ work based learning for approximately 8 years, delivering Framework apprenticeships and AEB commercial courses face to face and online, in groups and in 1-2-1 environments. How did you use the learning from this module in your teaching context?

From recent internal sector reviews, it was identified that our main weaknesses as a delivery team were around effectively engaging learners in activities in a digital/ online environment, and a lack of assessment of, and for, learning within sessions. What worked well?

Those who have viewed the resource, and who have no visual impairments, find that it is interactive, logical and simple to use and generated ideas for coaches to try out with learners. I have learned the benefits and limitations for Prezi during the creation stage of the resource.

What would you do differently next time?

I would check each resource and design tool’s capabilities against it’s accessibility. I will search for accessibility statements before using the system, read peer reviews of the system and try out the features before committing to a system to use.
