Join our Live Q&A chat session looking at how to recruit learners to new Essential Digital Skills Qualification (EDSQ) courses.

Recruiting is always a problem when there is a new course. This is particularly challenging during the pandemic, with courses being online.

Previously publicity could be displayed in local public places such as libraries, learning centres and cafes, but with lockdown recruitment becomes a greater challenge.

Once recruited, more course time and effort is then needed to give students confidence to learn online.

Tutor Mahjabeen Chand and Curriculum Leader Kulwant Jheeta will offer some guidelines and tips for recruiting learners to new Essential Digital Skills Qualification courses and then retaining them for the duration of the course.

We will start with a short presentation and then have a Question-and-Answer session which we hope will help you to refine a plan for your own organisation. This discussion can then continue by text at a time to suit you on the EDS Community of Practice section of the Enhance website:

Note that you can only interact on the Community of Practice once you've registered (for free) on the Enhance website and have completed a short self-assessment.

Please join us on Zoom on Friday, March 12 th, from 1-1.30pm.

You can register in advance here.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
