Latest topics for weekly EdTech drop in clinics
Join our free weekly EdTech drop-in clinics every Wednesday to the end of March, from 12.30pm – 1.15pm. The clinics are being led by Sally Betts, Alistair McNaught, Tricia Odell and Sarah Simons and offer advice and support to those engaged in EdTech training on the Enhance Digital Teaching Platform.
The team working on the Enhance Digital Teaching Platform for the Education and Training Foundation (ETF) is providing weekly EdTech drop-in clinics from 12.30pm - 1.15pm every Wednesday to 31 March. The clinics last 45 minutes and offer advice and support to those who are using the EdTech modules on the Enhance Digital Teaching Platform and working towards the associated digital badges.
Each clinic includes:
- Themed input (10 mins)
- Time to discuss and share (5 mins)
- Review of supporting modules on the Enhance Digital Teaching Platform (5 mins)
- Q&A (20 mins)
The next clinics will cover the following topics:
17th March - How accessible are your presentations? We'll share with you our five top tips to making your presentations more accessible. We'll explain why in-built accessibility checkers are great but not perfect, and make you aware of the additional things you need to keep in mind. Drop-in and ask a question, whether that's on making your resources more accessible or another aspect of teachig with digital technologies.
24th March - Developing your blended approach. With blended learning likely to stay as part of curriculum delivery for many of our learners we'll explore the benefits and challenges of a flipped learning approach. Drop-in and ask a question about the approaches you could take.
31st March - Showcase practice. We'll share with you EdTech practice by your peers across the FE sector and we'll show where you can find more and join the community. Drop-in and ask a question about the approaches we share or come and tell us what you've been trying out with your learners.
